Produced Water

This is the water that is returned mixed with the hydrocarbons produced by the well. The water stream often contains contaminants including hydrocarbons, inorganic chemicals and suspended solids which must be removed before re-injection into the well or disposal into the sea (to avoid environmental contamination)

SupaGard nominally rated depth filters are used to protect the polishing (final trace oil removal) stage of this process.
