Fine Filtration

Fine Filtration can be for the protection of sterile filtration downstream (i.e. prefiltration), removal of yeasts and bio-burden reduction (in syrups or other such additives) or for the total removal of Cryptosporidium cysts/oocysts and Giardia lamblia.

For this application we would recommend Amazon SupaPleat II cartridges.

Again, the Amazon 61 Series and 63 Series housings offer an ideal low cost solution, however where steaming or hot CIP is required, or for the filtration of syrup or other sugary or viscous additives (where a fully draining leg mounted housing design is preferred), the Amazon 62 Series and 64 Series housings should be considered. The Amazon 70 Series housings are also ideal if a sanitary finish is required.
