Services - Steam

Many of the above stages can be steam sterilised in-situ (assuming correct cartridge specification) but the steam used to do this should itself be filtered to prevent it causing premature blockage of, or damage to, the filter medium used.

For this application we recommend Amazon SupaMesh stainless steel mesh cartridges (10 micron absolute) housed in Amazon 52 Series or 53 Series housings.

Services - Gases (Compressed air, CO2, N2 and O2)

Gases that come into contact with the water, syrup or drink should be filtered to prevent recontamination. Gas applications include carbonation (CO2 added to make drinks fizzy), blanketing gases (N2 or CO2 used to blanket tanks or pipework) and deodourisation.

For these applications we recommend Amazon SupaPleat PP or SupaPore PP cartridges for general control and for prefiltration (if required) or Amazon SupaPore TP cartridges for sterile filtration duties and Amazon SupaCarb BP cartridges for deodourisation.

The Amazon 52 Series and 53 Series housings are ideal for these requirements, as are the Amazon 72 Series or 74 Series housings.

For tank venting applications, we recommend Amazon 71 Series housings fitted with either SupaPore PP or SupaPore TP cartridges.

Services - Water

Syrup installations (housings and pipelines etc.) may require flushing out with filtered water to prevent contamination. Applications include chase water (water to clean out pipes etc.), and jetting liquor (liquor for duties such as lubricating and/or cleaning conveyors).

For these applications we recommend Amazon SupaPore PP or SupaSpun II cartridges for general control and for prefiltration (if required) or Amazon SupaPore VPW cartridges for sterile filtration duties.

The Amazon 51 Series and 60 Series housings are ideal for these requirements, as are the Amazon 72 Series or 73 Series housings.
