TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

The role

We are seeking a new Technical Support Engineer to join the Internal Sales Team in order to provide customer and prospect support. This exciting role requires a broad range of skills and the successful candidate will be required to undertake the following key responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming sales enquiries via our sales engineers by telephone, fax and email
  • Preparation of technical quotations and other associates sales documentation
  • Undertake sizing and costing of non-price listed pressure vessels using good engineering principles
  • Provide support for the External Sales Team

    This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a challenging and interesting position; we are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Internal Sales experience
  • Working practise in preparation of quotes
  • Confidence and drive
  • Logical and organised approach to daily workloads
  • Ability to prioritise under pressure
  • An engineering or process related background
  • Knowledge of filtration or a background in the process industry would be an advantage – although not essential
