Amazon Filters has recently completed the expansion of the new pleating and assembly room at their main production plant in Camberley, England. A recent 750mē facility was created to keep pace with the growing demand for the SupaPore PPG and FPG Series of high specification pleated cartridges.
The all polypropylene PPG and Glass Microfibre FPG cartridges have proven very successful as membrane pre-filters and final polishing filters used in the Beverage and Fine Chemicals world. This new facility is equipped with the very latest thermal end capping system which was developed in-house, the equipment was designed to achieve a very fast weld without compromise to the products integrity. Capacity has grown to over 300,000 modules per annum and this new facility has been organised so as to allow for a doubling of that figure with the introduction of further machinery.
Further benefits associated with this move have seen the introduction of a wider range of micron ratings for the FPG Glass Microfibre filters. These are now available at 0.5, 1.0, 5 and 10 microns.
This is a great step forward for Amazon Filters product range and one that will benefit our clients with decreased lead times and improved product integrity and flexibility.
