Players from the Stores Department challenged the Production Department to a 7 a-side football match. The first half saw the teams fairly evenly matched. However
Production Department found the fitness and speed of the players from Stores just too much and the final result saw the Stores Department win 6-2.

Apart from the fun had on the day, Dan Burville, from the Stores Department, agreed to have his legs waxed – Crazy or Brave – we are not quite sure. He now has the smoothest legs in the Company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paul Wallace, our Facilities Manager, chose what he thought might be a less painful option by being locked in the stocks. However, the number of people queuing to throw full buckets of cold water over him meant he was absolutely soaked (and freezing cold). One employee “friend” even paid for him to be squirted with cream.

The events on the day came to a conclusion with a raffle and auction. Several local shops and businesses donated prizes and we would like to take this opportunity of thanking them for their generosity and support.
The last event, which took place in beautiful sunshine on Sunday 15th March, was a five mile sponsored walk. Family and friends joined employees on the walk.
A huge “thank you” to everyone for taking part.
