Amazon Filters Ltd Launches New Filter For Municipal Water Applications
DWI (Drinking Water Inspectorate) Regulation 31 requires that only filtration products approved by the Secretary of State can be used in the supply of drinking water. To help water supply companies meet this legal requirement Amazon Filters Ltd, the Camberley, UK based manufacturer of liquid filtration equipment have introduced SupaSpun II R31 filters.
SupaSpun II R31 filters are specifically designed and qualified for use in the purification and supply of public water and have been adopted by many of the major water supply companies. Details can be found on the DWI’s List of Approved Products for use in Public Water Supply in the United Kingdom under reference number DWI 56/4/702.
These high performance depth cartridges have a precision graded porosity that provides absolute ratings, high dirt holding capacity and excellent flow rates. They are available in a wide choice of removal ratings and therefore can be used in a range of applications including removal of Cryptosporidium oocysts, reduction of turbidity, Point of Entry filtration and membrane system protection.
Amazon Filters Limited also designs housings to support the use of filter cartridges. These can be supplied as ready to install skids fitted with pipe work, valving, pumps etc so can easily and quickly be connected to the water treatment system.
