The choice of cartridge filters is not a straightforward selection from a chart or data sheet. Knowledge of the system, the process parameters and the economics all play a part in the optimum selection of process filters. Without any one of these factors, the choice may be compromised.

SupaSpun II The next generation of Absolute rated depth cartridges using spun polymers, for maximum efficiency and system protection. In areas where absolute filtration (Beta Ratio 5000) is required, SupaSpun II has consistently proven to be superior to most other cartridges available today.

SupaSpun NN Absolute rated Nylon cartridges for improved chemical and temperature resistance that features all the benefits associated with the Amazon family of spun media. Ideal for petrochemical, solvent and fuel filtration applications.

SupaGard This range offers the most economic solution to depth filtration. A nominally rated cartridge, it comes complete with an internal support core offering maximum rigidity and excellent life due to its high void volume.

Visclear Nylon nominally rated filter cartridges for more challenging chemical compatibility or higher temperature applications. Rigid in construction, it is ideally suited to replacing the old fashioned Resin Bonded type filters that are still common in many paint, ink and coating applications.

Contour This large diameter cartridge utilises the same outstanding depth characteristics as the well proven SupaSpun absolute rated cartridges, in a high flow configuration. Available in Polypropylene and Nylon, these have found favour in applications where ease and speed of changeout is crucial and in high flow rate applications.

SupaWind continuously wound cartridge filters are manufactured from high quality yarn wound around a cylindrical support core. The wind pattern is designed to create tapered spiral passageways, and during manufacture, fibres are combed across these passageways and locked into place by successive layers. The passageways, being tapered, provide finer filtration towards the centre of the cartridge.

The SupaPleat II series of industrial cartridge elements, available with either polypropylene or glass fibre media, have recently been launched featuring fully welded assemblies and the very latest in pleat technology. They offer maximum economy for general purpose filtration systems.

The SupaPleatHFC range is the latest addition to the range. A large diameter, in-to-out flow cartridge which has very high media surface area to housing size ratios. This allows extremely economical housing solutions combined with fast changeouts, ideal for high flow applications.

Aimed at the Beverage, Fine Chemicals, Micro Electronics and Pharmaceutical industries, the SupaPore range of microfiltration products incorporates both true membrane and pleated depth filter styles. These are heavy duty, modular assemblies for the most demanding of filtration applications. Pre and final filters down to 0.03 micron are available, with full supporting documentation.

The main products in Amazons adsorptive range are the SupaCarb RP/XP rolled felt Carbon filters and the new SupaCarb BP sintered carbon block range. Both of these ranges offer high quality carbon filtration in industrial standard cartridge configurations up to 40" in length, with all the standard end cap options available.

SupaMesh cartridges are available with many standard industrial end cap configurations and seal materials. They are available with optional outer guards for reverse flow or backwashing to enhance their superior robust design. The method of construction and materials used allow for use from –150ºC to +300ºC and up to 25 bar differential pressure in normal flow direction.
